Our Site is a business (B2B) information site. It does not sell products online, does not require you to create an account, and does not collect payment information.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly

    •    Contact / "Tell Us" and quote requests. When you submit our contact form or request a quote, we collect your name, email address, subject, and the message or product details you provide. If you email, call, or fax us directly, we receive whatever information you choose to share.

    •    Search terms. If you use the search box on the Site, we process the words you type in order to return results.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our website platform and supporting services automatically collect technical information, including:

    •    IP address and approximate location derived from it;

    •    browser type, device type, operating system, and language;

    •    pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages, and dates/times of access;

    •    performance and diagnostic data (page-load timing, script errors) used to keep the Site working.

This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies and through our hosting and monitoring providers (see Sections 3 and 4).

Information we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, government IDs, or sensitive personal information through the Site, and the Site has no login or user account system.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and local browser storage for two main purposes:

    •    Strictly necessary / functional — to make the Site load, remember your consent choices, and provide security. These cannot be switched off without breaking the Site.

    •    Analytics / performance — to measure how the Site is used and to detect errors so we can improve it.

We use a consent management platform (Usercentrics) to present a cookie banner where required. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through that banner and change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended if you do.

The Site also relies on Wix's built-in consent-management setting to record your privacy choices. Wix maintains a consent policy for your browser with categories for essential, functional, analytics, advertising, and data sharing with third parties (dataToThirdParty). Your choices in the cookie banner and the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" control (see Section 9) are stored and enforced through this Wix setting.

We do not currently use the Site to serve targeted/behavioral advertising, and we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals at this time.

4. Service Providers We Use

We rely on the following third parties to operate the Site. They process information on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms:

    •    Wix.com — Website hosting and platform (the Site is built on Wix): hosting, form submissions, media/CDN delivery, built-in usage/performance analytics (e.g., Wix "panorama" / performance telemetry), and consent-preference management (the consent-policy setting that drives cookie categories and the "Do Not Sell" opt-out).

    •    Usercentrics — Cookie-consent management: records and enforces your cookie consent choices.

    •    Sentry — Error and performance monitoring: captures technical error/diagnostic data (including IP and browser info) when the Site malfunctions.

We may add or change providers over time and will update this policy accordingly.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

    •    respond to your inquiries, quote requests, and messages;

    •    provide sales and product support and follow up on business opportunities;

    •    operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;

    •    detect, prevent, and troubleshoot technical problems, fraud, and misuse;

    •    comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We use contact-form information only for the business purpose for which you submitted it. We do not sell your personal information.

6. How We Share Information

We share information only:

    •    With service providers (Section 4) who perform functions on our behalf and are limited to using the information for those functions;

    •    With affiliates within our corporate group, where applicable;

    •    For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities (e.g., subpoenas or court orders), or protect our rights, safety, and property or that of others;

    •    In a business transfer — if all or part of our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer to the successor, subject to this policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our website platform (Wix) does, however, use a default consent setting that permits certain data to be shared with third parties (dataToThirdParty) unless you opt out. You can opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" control described in Section 9, which sets this Wix setting to stop that sharing for your browser. We do not use the Site for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Data Retention

We keep contact and inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain our normal business, sales, and legal records, then delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed. Automatically collected technical and diagnostic data is retained for shorter periods by our platform and monitoring providers according to their standard retention schedules.

8. Data Security

We and our providers use reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect information collected through the Site. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email sent to or from the Site may not be secure — please use discretion in what you send us by email.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA, Minnesota under the Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act, and similar state laws), you may have the right to:

    •    know / access the personal information we hold about you;

    •    correct inaccurate personal information;

    •    delete your personal information;

    •    opt out of the sharing of your personal information with third parties; and

    •    not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information. The Site provides a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" control (in the footer). Selecting it sets our website platform's consent setting (dataToThirdParty in Wix) to stop sharing your personal information with third parties for that browser. This choice is stored per-browser, so you may need to repeat it on other devices or after clearing cookies.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sales@lewisbolt.com or by phone/mail using the details in Section 1. We will verify your request as required by law before responding and will respond within the timeframes applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals in the rail industry. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Please review their privacy policies before providing them information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when we post the revised policy on the Site with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after that constitutes acceptance of the changes, where permitted by law.

13. Contact Us
