Union Pacific Rail has added the Patented Lewis Evergrip™ Spike to their standard Plans. UPRR joins CSX (CSX has over 9 million installed) and CP Rail who have been using and realizing the benefits of the Evergrip for many years. The UPRR plans on using the Evergrips on Curves, Switches and wherever superior holding power is required.

The Long Island Railroad has placed their 1st large order for the Lewis Evergrip™ Spike since completing testing that lasted over 3 years.  The Transit intends to install the Evergrips using the Nordco Model CX Spiker converted to easily drive them in.
